Writer’s Block: Revolutionary Thought

Obama is!  and how fitting he became president on the anniversary of the marxist overthrow! wow! history sure does have a way of repeating itself!

We live in the last days foretold by prophets of God thousands of years ago.  There are several new "opiums of the people":
– pride.  people all want to think they are new, different and correct.  our world is so full of various confused and corrupt philosophies, that many don’t even realise their ‘originality’ and ‘evolution of thought’ was predicted long ago, and they are simply walking like zombies into the very places and positions foretold by those prophets.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

– Obama is an opiate for some.  his campaign was full of promises … promises to both sides of every issue.  his was a campaign of ‘feel good’ … we took it in, it softened us, and now we’re lying on our backs, letting the dreams swirl around in front of us …
but when the effect wears off, it will be cold. we will be left craving something of substance …
will we take another hit and lay back again, forgetting our worries, or will we remain alert to the horrible situation we are now in?

Obama has already threatened some of our freedoms. he campaigned on lies and vast anmounts of wealth.  today, aside from cracking jokes about an elderly widow named Nancy Reagan, he gave a press conference about how ‘we’re gonna build the economy from the ground up!" … while surrounded with some of the biggest billionaires in the world.  How is surrounding yourself with vast amounts of wealth and wealthy friends supposed to help you know what the ‘ground’ feels like?  If he were really building from the ‘ground up’, he’d start with the poor!

I don’t mean to jump around, but it’s interesting that marx had something against religion.  as much as we always want to blame ‘religion;’ for all our wars and social problems, if you look back historically, it’s always when religion is oppressed that things start to get bad and fall apart.

just a thought.
