“Human rights cannot interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crises”
Hillary Clinton said in talks with China’s foreign minister.

maybe my English and Chinese are a bit rusty, but doesn’t that mean Clinton feels the global economy, the alleged climate change and ‘security crises’ are more important than human rights?
this coming from a liberal? a democrat? a progressive?

(i’m supposing she meant “China needs to get their human rights issues under control so we don’t have to deal with those on top of trying to work on the global trade blah blah blah ….)
